If I only had a brain...... (part 3)

Changing seasons

If I only had a brain...... (part 2)

Gingerbread fun!

If I only had a brain...... (part 1)

I, Dixie Parriman, being of tired body and frustrated spirit shall make a series of small posts after having unsuccessfully attempting to combine things and then suffering the pain that comes only when a post is nearly ready and then somehow disappears into thin air.
(I have at least 2 partially completed posts floating around out in blog space from my attempts during the last hour and a half.)

Carson and his food.
From yuck
to yum.

He is learning the art of eating and enjoying it greatly.

She Lives to Post Again

Yes, I know it has been so long—over a month since I last posted. I do humbly apologize and have decided not to list for you my many credible excuses. Now, on with those pictures!
Carson in the Dean of Women's office-entertaining.
Learning a lesson from Uncle David.
If only this child were loved. :)
Life so much better when you have friends.
Pops, what is this?
Bean's first Sunday to perform with the GBS Symphonic Wind and String Ensemble. Actually his performance was rewarded with a one way trip to the Nursery where he enjoyed the service with Aunt Jenny.
Is this my child?
Happy Halloween
The pumpkin patch
The ultimate pumkin seat
Hope you enjoyed this lengthy update.

“Tagged”

I have been tagged by 3 people: Aunt Deb, Sarah, and Jenn. This means I am to list random facts about myself. I think I will just stick with 7 facts since 21 would be impossible.

1. I absolutely love being a mommy.

2. I love my job as a music teacher. I especially love teaching band.

3. I married the last person I dated.

4. I hate the dark; big crowds; and chickens. (When I was quite young a rooster
pecked me on the leg and made me bleed. I have harbored hatred in my heart
ever since.)

5. I don’t like baby sleepers that snap. Sleepers with zippers are much simpler.

6. I have spent almost 1/3 of my life at GBS.

7. I lost my pacifier in Haiti at a very young age (6 months) while accompanying
my parents on a missionary adventure.
